Courses for leaders
Introduction to the Award (ITTA)
This weekend course provides new, or less experienced Award Leaders with a thorough introduction to the aims, principles, requirements, framework and structure of the Award programme. Course dates and further information are available from the Award office in Swindon.
Group Award Leaders' Network
The group meets three times per year for training, sharing good practice and mutual encouragement. It is open to all Award leaders/volunteers in the Borough. For the date of the next meeting, please contact the Award office.
Open Award Centre
Do you have expedition skills? Are you looking to get out in the great outdoors? Why not join the voluntary teams at one of the Open Award Centres and lend your skills to help young people achieve their Duke of Edinburgh's Award? Enthusiastic leaders are needed. Further details can be found in the Awards Centres in Swindon.
Presentation Evening
During the course of the year we will be celebrating the achievements of participants at bronze, silver and gold levels and presenting Certificates and badges. Details from the Award Office.
