Work Choice

Work Choice is a supported employment programme that assists individuals with a disability to find and maintain employment.

Work Choice can also provide support to individuals who are already in employment, but who may be at serious risk of losing their job as a result of their disability. Structured support is provided to both the employer and employee through a development plan which is tailored to suit the needs of the individual. Any type of support can be considered, regardless of the occupation or the disability. Work Choice can also provide individuals with the opportunity to learn, develop and improve skills and, if appropriate, to provide a stepping stone into unsupported employment.
